Instant Thought at 3:A.M Lying on my bed with eye open at 3:00 A.M.  What could be the reason that keeps me awake? Today, 2nd June is the Social Forestry Day. It was on this day in 1974, the people of Bhutan welcomed His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo on the throne. The youngest leader in the world at his time and to shoulder the abundant responsibility for the country and the people. Since 1985, the coronation day is declared as Social Forestry Day and this day has it's important role to play in all times to come. People across the country mark the day by planting trees to highlight the significance of people's involvement in the sustainable management of forest. We should take pride in being a Bhutanese as we are blessed with a benevolent yet dynamic and farsighted leader under whose reign we have experienced an unprecedented peace and prosperity.
