Expression of gratitude on World Humanitarian Day

Today is 9th day of lockdown and I never knew how it passed.  On the other hand, I have not been on my phone as I use to be. I take this lock down as precious moment for every one who gets  a chance to be with your dear ones and those proud citizens serving the nation leaving  families back home. No matter how dreadly the disease is, we must be positive and follow the precautions.

My lock down days have been so precious because I have a chance to be with my family. Honestly, I didn't had enough time to be with my family for more than two decades. I had to attend schools and college leaving my family back at home.  Now, as a working woman prioritizing duties has become more crucial.  The only time I get to spend with my family is during annual rituals and family gatherings. But that's not enough as we have to be busy attending guests and doing house chores.

For last nine days, my mother, sister-in-law, my husband and our daughter companion made so precious that I can never buy those moments. We already had stock up the essential goods and should not worry about it. We have never went outside because we were busy enjoying the moment. Don't take lockdown as a punishment. If u  deeply analyze, it gives u a moment to be with your family which you have been longing for. Only with effective lockdown, the disease can stop from spreading.

Today(19th August, 2020), the room is full of day light emptiness  as my husband had to leave us for his duty.  The duty to serve nation and it's people at this crucial time. As a banker, duty to make sure people don't run out of cash is prioritized.

Now, I fully understand the pain and sacrifices made by frontline fighters. Never ever complain on the failures of the frontline fighters as the failure is just 5% and their hard work is 95%. They are working freely for us. Be positive and be contended with what they have done for us. If I am not wrong, they are  risking their own lives for others. Happiness is spiritual experience of living every minutes with love, grace and gratitude. Be happy always.

"Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for all that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation" Brian Tracy

I, You and We all should never fail to show our gratitude to our king,  government and frontline fighters. Because of them, we have peace at home.

If we can cooperate with each other, we can surely contain this dreadly disease.

I always believe in solidarity conquers adversity.

I dedicate this small piece of writing to all the real-life heroes who have committed their lives  helping others in most extreme situations throughout the world.

HAPPY WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY
